SOLO GUITAR/DJ COMBO or DJ ONLY Steve Ezzo is a professional musician who is unique in his ability to perform both as a solo guitarist and as a DJ when the occasion calls for a combination of live and recorded music. For example, he can play live solo guitar for a wedding ceremony and cocktails and then DJ the reception, all for less than what you would pay for two individuals. If you do not want solo guitar, we have other musicians that we offer in combination with his DJ services. He can also perform as a DJ only without the addition of the live music or DJ both a wedding ceremony and reception. We have a large collection of Classical music that does not appear on our song list below. WORLD MUSIC The Monterey Peninsula is extremely diverse and has afforded us the opportunity to provide music for people of various cultures. We have traveled extensively and have both a knowledge and appreciation of World Music. The above song list includes Persian, French, Lebanese, Portuguese, Brazilian, Chinese, Japanese, African, Caribbean, Tahitian, German, Russian, and other types of World Music. If you are interested in only popular American or Latin selections, you may wish to view the song list by Type Of Music rather than by Song Title or Artist to avoid scouring through selections from other countries.

TWO PERSON DJ TEAM For most events, Steve works as a two-person DJ team with his wife, Ann. This enables one of them to attend to the music while the other is assisting with the coordination of the event. Forms are provided in advance to help you organize your thoughts and a three page list of suggested songs for Bridal Dances and other special events is available for weddings. Ann is available to assist you in the planning of your musical program and you are welcome to call with any questions seven days a week from 10 am to 10 pm (Pacific Standard Time).

EQUIPMENT Steve uses the latest Bose P. A. system which is small and sleek yet very powerful (see photo below) with two laptop computers, each containing the same extensive repertoire of music plus a back-up system for a failsafe performance. We provide a wireless microphone for your use, optional dance lighting if requested, and superb Master of Ceremonies services. We also offer an optional second sound system for wedding ceremonies that includes two lapel microphones for an officiate and groom and optional microphones on stands for a vocalist or reader if needed. We have a third sound system available when a third P. A. is required.

SOUND SYSTEM This is a photo of Steve's Bose state-of-the-art P. A. which is compact,

yet powerful. No unsightly large speakers on poles or taking up room on your dance floor--it's just one thin cylinder with 24 tiny high end speakers inside. It is superior in sound because it is equally dispersed from right to left and front to back--the sound maintains virtually an equal volume, unlike traditional P. A. systems that are directional and have "hot spots". The Bose system works well in small, intimate venues or in large ballrooms. Your guests will be amazed at how good the system sounds and how sleek it looks!

BACK-UP SYSTEMS It is important to make sure that the DJ you hire has a back-up system in case of an equipment failure. We carry three systems and leave nothing to chance--your event is extremely important and we make certain that we are able to perform as expected!

DJ & DANCE INSTRUCTOR Shaun is a disc jockey who has been personally trained by the owner of Ezzo Entertainment, Steve Ezzo. Shaun is unique among DJs because he is also a professional dance instructor and is capable of working with the bride and groom prior to their wedding for a show-stopping first dance or of leading a group dance, such as a Merengue, at the reception for a fun and interactive party (if desired by the client). His dance training (which ranges from Ballroom, Latin, and Swing to Hip Hop) has exposed him to a wider than normal range of musical styles which gives him a distinct advantage over the average D.J. This is particularly true for weddings since the age range of the guests often spans three or four generations and their musical tastes are widely varied as well. Shaun’s style is “elegant and upbeat” and with his years of dance and musical experience, he can help make your wedding reception a fun and memorable one.

SERVICES Shaun performs all Master of Ceremony duties at your event and also provides a wireless microphone for your use during toasts and speeches as well as dance lighting (if requested). Shaun always carries a back-up set of DJ equipment for a fail-proof performance. Prior to your event, Ann Ezzo will provide forms to help you organize your music and timeline, a list of songs for special dances, and her assistance daily by telephone from 10 am to 10 pm as needed. All organizational details will be discussed in advance so that once your special day arrives, you can relax and know that you have left the musical aspect of the event in very capable hands.

SONG LIST Shaun utilizes the same song list as Steve which is extensive and covers all musical genres. To view it, click on any of the three red categories above. In addition, we are happy to download some special requests for songs that do not appear on our list.

EQUIPMENT Shaun's equipment is top quality and for an additional fee, he can provide multiple sound systems if the event is being held in more than one location. He also offers a ceremony sound system with lapel microphones for both the minister and groom, optional wireless microphones for readers or vocalists and Shaun monitoring the system throughout the ceremony. This ceremony sound system is available only to those who have hired us to provide music for either their ceremony or reception because our fee is half the price of a sound company.

WEDDING CEREMONY DJ Shaun can also DJ your wedding ceremony. We have a large selection of Classical and traditional wedding music for the Prelude, Processionals and Recessional. However, if live music is preferred for the ceremony, Ezzo Entertainment offers many ceremony musicians in conjunction with Shaun's DJ services. We can coordinate the music for the entire event from beginning to end.

KARAOKE For those special occasions when you want some audience participation, we offer Karaoke as an add-on to our DJ services. Perfect for private parties and wedding rehearsal dinners. Shaun can also lead group dances in conjunction with DJ/Karaoke.

SIX ADDITIONAL DJs Whether you prefer a DJ who is Latin and bilingual or a beach party DJ with interactive games, we have additional choices to fit the occasion or when Steve is unavailable. All of our DJs have a minimum of ten years experience and bios can be emailed upon request.
